Napaphan Yong - 2nd year Milanese lace with Claire Bonito at the Edinburgh Lace Course 20-24 July 2026. There are more than 70 lacemakers in various classes with 5 tutors. Not only making lace, there are also special talks from our tutors and special occasion to cerebrate Clair Bonito's book launched to the world. This year, I chose the Claire's Angel Ornament pattern which is for an experienced lacemaker. I enjoy learning and yes, I have to do the rest as my homework. Congratulations again to Claire for her success in her "Modern Milanese Lace" publication
Brooklyn Lace Guild - Brooklyn Lace Guild was honored to be invited to exhibit at the Peniche Lace Festival in Portugal! We learned about lace in Peniche as well as from the other exhibitors across Europe, and saw many wonderful old and new friends. We were proud to showcase some of the innovative work of our members, both in our booth and on the runway. It was our first official lace festival booth, but it certainly won’t be our last! Huge thanks to Município de Peniche Oficial for the generous welcome, and to everyone who worked to make the festival a dazzling success! Obrigada, and see you next time
